Having a clean bill of health when it comes to your credit history is a
position that most people can only dream of. However, in todays ever expensive
society, many people are in a less than favourable credit position.
A bad credit history can arise from any of the following circumstances;
missing payments on previous debts, having County Court Judgements against
your name or having been declared bankrupt in the past. If any of these
resemble your current situation then your only option will be a credit
card designed for people with bad credit.
If you have a poor credit rating then being accepted for a credit card
will prove to be difficult. However, some lenders are willing to offer
cards to those with a less than perfect credit rating. The drawback is
the interest rates on offer won’t be as low as the standard credit
cards on the market. Though if your intention is to settle the balance
at the end of every month then you shouldn't feel the pinch.
